Arabian horses are the sports cars of the horse world. The Egyptian Arabians, which represent a very small portion of Arabian horses in total, are those whose descendants can be traced back to the stables of Mohammed Ali, leader of the Ottoman Empire. These examples of “living art” inspire us with their power, beauty and endurance. Just watching them gallop across the fields is a breathtaking experience in itself.
Alpacas are one of the oldest domesticated animals on earth. Initially bred for thousands of years in South America, they are fast becoming popular in North America as fiber producers and as pets. Their fiber is cherished for its quality and the animals make wonderful pets for small acreage hobby farms.
